Installed where shear values or backing is required, Sure-Board® leaves an uninterrupted surface between wall sheathing and/or exterior finishes. Sure-Board® lays flat and tight on the stud surface with no sagging or uneven material build-up eliminating the need for additional furring materials. X- bracing and gusset plates that require costly and laborious pre and post tensioning are no longer necessary. Sure-Board® creates innovative solutions for shear panel design. Sure-Board® series 200W is the only shear option that requires no additional furring when used as a substrate. This saves labor and material as well as creating the strongest available shear panel today.
